My name is Dr. Dennis Olson. I grew up in a small Central Minnesota town called Holdingford. Holdingford is the town that according to Garrison Kealor, most closely resembles mythical Lake Woebegone from his novels.Growing up in Holdingford instilled in me a sense of openness and kindness that I think is special in a small town. It is also the birthplace of what people say is a "very strong" accent. I have been asked many times as a matter of fact what part of Canada I am from.
Sports were of particular of interest to me when I was growing up and continued into my high school and college years. I was avidly involved in Football, Track & Field, and especially Basketball. Basketball, like anything, takes a lot of practice to master and my brother and I spent countless hours in the driveway competing against one another to become better and better at everything involved in the game. I believe that the dedication and desire that I had for the sports that I played has carried over to the love I have for Chiropractic and the patients that I am lucky to see on a daily basis.
I attended and graduated from Saint John's University with a B.A. in Biology and a minor in Philosophy and chose Northwestern College of Chiropractic in Bloomington, MN as the Chiropractic school I would attend. Northwestern is considered by many in the chiropractic field to be one of the finest chiropractic colleges in the world. It has a strong foundation that has married Philosophy with Science very well. This education instilled in me the drive to want to correct weaknesses in my patient's spines through a measurable physics based process of correction. Since graduating I have amassed hundreds of hours in post graduate training and seminars honing my craft with outstanding mentors and teachers.
I have been married to my beautiful wife Mandy for almost 13 years and we have a beautiful and sweet little boy named Chase and a beautiful little girl named Brynne. We also have a very special Dog named Lucy.;My entire family enjoys Wellness Treatments to keep their nervous system functioning at a high level. I continue to expand my knowledge by attending numerous educational seminars on all matter of health.
Dr. Dan and I look forward to meeting you and offering you the best possible natural health care possible.
